West Glades School

Dear WGS Parents and Guardians, Today, we conducted a scheduled fire drill as part of our ongoing commitment to student safety and emergency preparedness. This drill allowed us to practice our school’s evacuation plan and ensure that all safety procedures are followed effectively. We’re pleased to share that the drill was a success. All students and staff evacuated the building quickly and safely, and everyone was accounted for in a timely and thorough manner. Thank you for your continued support as we work to maintain a safe and secure environment for our school community.

Tomorrow is the deadline for online forms on Skyward. If you fail to fill out your forms online, you will have to come to the school to do it or your information will not be updated.

Parents and Guardians, please make sure your students place their names on their lunch boxes, cups and jackets. We are already starting a collection in lost and found. Thank you

Sports Physicals

Volleyball tryouts will be August 12th-14th for 6-8th grade only. Please make sure you have a current physical on the FHSAA form EL2 with the consent form signed EL3. Forms EL2 and EL3 can be picked up in the office or downloaded at fhsaa.com under parents.

Kindergarten registration must be completed ASAP. If your student is a Glades county resident, zoned for WGS or got accepted via the lottery, all registration paperwork must be completed before your student will be enrolled and assigned a teacher. If you have any questions please call

In observance of the 4th of July, West Glades School will be closed Thursday the 3rd and Friday the 4th. We will reopen Monday the 8th.
