If your child in grades K-6 did not receive their report card, they will be available Tuesday 6/3/25. 7-8th grade report cards will be available after EOC grades are entered. We will let you know when they are available.

Attention WGS 8th Grade Students! Join us for the Last Flippin' Day Pancake Breakfast with Mrs. Wills under the pavilion tomorrow at 7:30am.
Island or summer wear relaxed dress code for tomorrow. Best summer wear will win prizes. No bathing suits and all delicate parts must be covered. All grades spread the word. I reserve the right to call parents if it's ridiculous. No bellies, cleavage or bottoms showing.
If your child has any prescription or over the counter medications with our school nurse, please make sure you pick them up prior to Friday, June 6th. Only parents or adults listed on your student's emergency contact list may pick up medications. All unclaimed medications will be discarded according to Florida Law after June 6th. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Algebra 1 boot camp this week Monday- Thursday and Monday 5/19. It is 3-4 PM and all Algebra students are welcome. Test is next Tuesday.
7th grade civics boot camp this week Monday- Thursday and Monday 5/19 at 3- 4 PM. Any 7th grade student is allowed to attend with a signed permission slip. All 7th graders received a permission slip. Students must be picked up by a parent at 4. The test is next Wednesday.
All students who do not reside in Glades County or are not zoned for West Glades School must apply for open enrollment annually beginning this year. Any out of county students who do not apply through open enrollment will be withdrawn immediately for the 2025-2026 school year. Deadline to complete open enrollment is May 20th.

There will be a Four Day School Week community informational meeting on Monday, May 12th at 6:00pm. The meeting will be held in the cafeteria at West Glades School. The committee will be presenting the proposal for Glades County Schools adopting a four day school week. In addition, the committee would like to hear input from our community related to the proposal.
