A lockdown alert was accidentally triggered at WGS. We did go into a lockdown until the incident was confirmed accidental. The incident is all clear at this time. We want to commend our students and staff for quickly responding to our emergency protocols.

All students should have an ID on at ALL times. Students without IDs will be tracked in the discipline system. If your student looses their IDs they must pay to replace them. $3 for the ID card, $1 for the sleeve and $2 for the lanyard. Students may not use any lanyard except for school issued lanyards.

The southbound lane at the foot of the LaBelle bridge will be closed for a period of time due to a water break. Please be mindful when coming for parent pick-up. Leave early to accommodate for wait times or seek an alternate route such as Ft. Denaud.
