A lockdown alert was accidentally triggered at WGS. We did go into a lockdown until the incident was confirmed accidental. The incident is all clear at this time. We want to commend our students and staff for quickly responding to our emergency protocols.
Reminders: Snack shack tomorrow so send money with your student.
No parents will be allowed at the parade because of space restrictions.

Parents,
All students should have an ID on at ALL times. Students without IDs will be tracked in the discipline system. If your student looses their IDs they must pay to replace them. $3 for the ID card, $1 for the sleeve and $2 for the lanyard. Students may not use any lanyard except for school issued lanyards.

The southbound lane at the foot of the LaBelle bridge will be closed for a period of time due to a water break. Please be mindful when coming for parent pick-up. Leave early to accommodate for wait times or seek an alternate route such as Ft. Denaud.

Middle school drama tryouts are tomorrow3-5. The music has been loaded to the Google classroom. Best case scenario be prepared to sing, at least one song.
Reminders for next week: Book Fair starts Monday February 12th. PTO will be selling Buddy Grams through Monday. They are $1 with a choice of a necklace or a bracelet.
West Glades School-NEW BUS ROUTES-EFFECTIVE WEDNESDAY, FEB. 14th! If your student rides a bus, please refer to the attached bus routes on the live feed or Facebook to determine your child's bus and routes. This affects all routes except Silver Bear and the ESE Route. Please call WGS with any questions or concerns.
